The Raindancer: A Portrait of Elliot Grove
Elliot was born into an Amish/Mennonite community in Ontario, Canada, before spending time in Somalia as a child. The murder of his father prompted a return to Canada where in his mid teens Elliot saw his first movie - “Lassie Come Home”. It was the beginning of a love affair with cinema that saw him become on of the world's leading champions for independent cinema and the establishment of the Raindance Film Festival and Film School.
